Shabbat in Jerusalem

After an amazing first day in Jerusalem, we spent our second day visiting the Israeli holocaust museum, Yad V'shem. It was a powerful and intense visit, learning about the tragedies of last century. After visiting the main museum, we spent our last moments at the museum in the Children's Memorial, where a few candles illuminate a vast dark hall.

We got back to the hotel in time to prepare for Shabbat. As the sabbath descended upon the city, we gathered for services, greeted one another with hugs, and spent the night eating and playing games and enjoying each others company.

Now it's Saturday night, and we're out for a night on the town, in the Ben Yehudah outdoor mall in the center of town. More soon!
