Trip to San Diego!

This morning, some of us woke up at 6:15 (over an hour earlier than usual) to go for a little hike to an avocado grove where we picked avocados and watched the sunrise. It was beautiful! After breakfast, we traveled about an hour away towards San Diego to the San Diego Jewish Academy. It was an incredibly beautiful and new Jewish school for grades K through 12. We worked in "Lavana's Garden" there where we weeded, built new raised beds, and planted new seeds. It was a long day in the sun, and as a treat after our long days work, we went to Baskin Robbins. We got the chance to spend some time at the beach to watch the sunset, and were then hosted by the generous Ann Jaffe, a major benefactor to the San Diego Jewish Academy, at her home for a wonderful Mexican-inspired dinner. Today was by far one of the most tiring and exciting days of the trip so far.

Today we also took a few group photos...enjoy!
