Today was a very long and exciting day for the group. They all landed safely this morning at 8:30am after an uneventful and long flight. After getting their luggage and getting everything ready, they were treated to a special welcome session.
Following that the group had their first taste of Israeli shopping. Lunch and a mall on the way to Haifa. A good opportunity to refuel and stretch everyone's legs for a little bit. Then it was off to the ancient port city of Caesarea located mid-way between Tel Aviv and Haifa, on the Israeli Mediterranean coast near the city of Hadera. Here everyone saw ruins, the coast, and heard stories of the early Roman rule.
After Caesarea the group traveled to the city of Haifa where they are spending the night. Tomorrow they will view the Bahai Gardens and see what the city has to offer. For now, everyone is looking forward to their first night in Israel and regrouping for tomorrow.
